Power without costume
The 535i introduced the 3.4-litre M30 into the E28 from 1984 — 218 PS, commanding torque and the choice between manual and automatic transmission, without the M535i’s M-look.
For many, it is today the smartest E28: the full six-cylinder experience, discreetly packaged, and at a fraction of the M5’s price.
